Description
The wall mount needs to be used with the other parts from the original RepRack system: https://www.printables.com/model/129024-reprack-open-source-spool-holder-and-storage-syste The original model single wall mount is meant to be used with conical head shaped wood screws. I prefer to use structural connector screws when mounting shelves to a wall. I like working with Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Drive SD connector screws. With the original model, structural screws are protruding from the wall mount preventing the shelf bracket from properly fitting into the wall mount. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media I tested the new model with Simpson Strong-Tie SD Structural-Connector Screw #9 x 2 ½ inches. It will also work with #10 structural screws. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media The original model was great, I simply modified it by adding a negative volume cylinder shape in Prusa Slicer to accommodate the larger screw heads. I also feel like the logo may have weakened the part so I removed it.
