Description
The ankle‑push trend keeps evolving, and Rethink Pads are a fresh take on the iconic concept—combining rigid + soft materials for a new level of comfort and control. They include front and rear mounts for optional LED lights and an AirTag hiding spot. Reflective‑tape indents are built in, or you can print accent plates in contrasting colors to slide into the slots. Printing Instructions Import files into your slicer. Optional scaling: Many riders report 92% X/Y fits smaller wheels . Keep Z at 100%. If your printer’s tolerances vary, scale the LED mount to 99.5% for easier threading. Mirror all parts for the left side—including the LED mount so the thread direction matches. Pillows need supports (threshold 20). Filament Options Two‑material setup: Base: TPU 90A+ Pillows: TPU/TPE <90A (TPE gives more grip) Single‑material setup: TPU 92A Base infill: 15% Pillow infill: 8% Print Settings 0.6 nozzle recommended (0.4 works too) 3 walls 6 bottom layers 4 top layers 15% gyroid infill Use Avoid Crossing Walls and print one part at a time for cleaner surfaces. Dimensions & Fit Pads are 75 mm deep, tuned for comfort and performance. Feel free to adjust depth via Z‑scale if needed. They fit a 250×250 mm bed at full scale. General Tips Adjust settings based on your filament—soft blends may need more infill. Always dry flexible filaments before printing: 6 hours in a filament dryer, or 12 hours on a warm print bed under a box. Even brand‑new spools benefit from drying
