Description
###𧡠Introduction This decorative lamp shaped like a spool wrapped with rope combines modern 3D printing with a rustic look. The model is designed to be easy to print, stable, and compatible with a standard E14 socket. I used a 200 lm LED bulb, but you can choose another light source β for example, an LED strip. The model consists of five parts: lampshade upper spool lower spool middle rope section bulb holder All dimensions can be found in the drawing below. ###π¨ Printing the individual parts Lampshade This is a model of a solid cylinder (you adjust the wall thickness by printing). Print as a vase mode. Without top and bottom layers. A thin wall creates a beautiful light diffusion. Upper and lower spool On the parts imitating rope, set fuzzy skin to give the surface a more realistic texture. I recommend two-color printing β filament change at the layer works great. Print with small support where the rope rises. Middle rope section Print with a wide brim for better adhesion. Add support under the overhanging part to prevent print breakage. Bulb holder Regular print without special settings. Holes are prepared for M3x10 screws. ###π§ Assembly Insert the power supply with the E14 socket into the bottom part. Screw the holder onto the socket and secure it with an anti-rotation ring. Screw the holder to the bottom part using M3x10 screws. Insert the LED bulb. Put on the lampshade. Add the middle rope section β pins should fit freely. If you want a firmer connection, you can glue it (beware of bulb replacement possibility). Finally, put on the upper spool, which fixes everything. In my print, nothing is glued, and it holds firmly. ###π₯ Video YouTube
