Description

Rugged box for the Viking 1000-Amp jump starter. This includes the original Rugged Box models, as well as custom inserts to hold the jump starter (battery), cables, charging brick, and charging cable. The box pieces used from the original model are the 200x185x60 v2 with default settings in fusion. I left enough room for the pieces to have some space, but not rattle around. The box closes snugly without squeezing components. I also drop tested it from ~3 feet and it had no issues. Box inserts fit well into the box halves, but can easily be removed by hand if desired. Requires Parts: Screws: 6x M3x30 2x Latches 1x of every other piece (box, lid, seal, box insert, lid insert) The top and bottom box halves, as well as the latches, were printed with PETG. The box inserts and seal were printed with TPU. When printing the main components, I used the following settings: Lid Filament: PETG Infill 15% (recommend higher) Layer Height: 0.20mm Supports: Tree (Auto) Brim: Outer Filament Used: 145g Print time: 5h Box: Filament: PETG Infill 35% Same settings as above Filament Used: 199g Print time: 8h 8m Box Insert: Filament: TPU Infill 15% (recommend 20%) Filament Used: 230g Print time: 16h 44m Lid Insert: Filament: TPU Infill: 25% Filament Used: 167g Print Time: 12h 10m
