Description
I got really inspired by this remix of the original model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5667256/remixes My idea was basically to merge the model above which is divided into 4 parts due to printer limitation. I did my best as a rookie in the 3D Cat world with Fusion 360. Finally I managed to extrude and join 3 of the 4 parts and make the last one either touching them (version 1) or even overlapping them (version 2). They should be perfectly fitting together when printed. Unfortunately, it appears that the printer that I am going to use can only print half of it, but that is life. Please bear in mind that when I upload the STL files to Fusion 360 (and convert the mesh) they are not solid for some reason, even though I am 100% sure that I extracted solid bodies. Last but not least, I am uploading new version of the aluminum backplate with fillets for better ventilation of the tablet in hot climate (fitting in my use case). The plate comes with all the standard holes to fit M4 DIN7984 cap head screws that are supposed to join it with the 3D printed frame. There are also M5 AMPS standard holes in the middle of the plate to be used with various GPS holders for 22mm, 14mm or 16mm bar. All of them could be found here in the platform. I really hope that this will help at least one person and please accept my apologies if the files are not the best but it was a steep learning process for me.
