Description
If you've looked at the photos… You've now met a Frankenstein printer I like to call “The Ender Kobra” How in the world did that happen? Thanks to the original designer, I was able to remix and make the final part, this being the hot end assembly, so what's so different? Well looking at the design you will see that the printer it is attached to is NOT an ender 3, so modifications were made to make it fit the Ender 2 Pro. Now the other parts include a larger fan duct, and more space to fit larger hot end assembly's. I also added some more options for the fan duct cover to provide more style choices. Now how did I make that thing you saw in the pictures? The story goes: 1. bought a damaged ender 2 Pro 2. My Anycubic Kobra plus has motherboard issues (but working hot end) 3. found a beautiful Satsana duct hot end by @Marshal_Bevan that only needed to be remixed to fit my Ender 2 Pro 4. Printed and fit to the Ender, however the hot end on the Ender gave out, the printer sat for a long time and then it hit me to combine the hot end assembly from my broken Anycubic and somehow get it to fit inside an Ender 2 chassis 5. after completing the remix, I can now fit the entire nozzle assembly from the Anycubic into the Ender 2 pro Thus creating “The Ender Kobra” This design remix is still completely useable on the ender 3, however some new modifications were made to make it also fit the ender 2. This means that if you had an ender 2 or 3 you would be able to use a larger hot end assembly on your printer. This worked well for me when printed with normal supports (not tree) just make sure that you check the box “only supports on build Plate” to keep the supports out of the fan duct. Thank you for reading, happy printing, and once again all credit to the original creator.
