Description
I bought a kit of router bits that had 4 different sizes. So I wanted to utilize one additional bit. This modifies endplate-b to be 4 mm thicker, and a recessed hole to allow extra room for the 1" bit. I could no longer use the endplate-a as the router bits have an 8mm flare at the router, before going down to the ¼" shaft diameter. This pushed the alignment of the gears too far. I used an extra bear from a non-used bit to help restrict shaft movement. The bearings that were supposed to go into endplate-a were then pushed up against the center plate, and washers help with alignment with the gears. 40mm M3 screws were used with washers to fasten to the center plate.
