Description
Intro After i first saw this model i knew i had to have it in my bathroom! Looks so awesome and its a nice eye catcher, because you look right at it when you enter the bathroom. Regarding the design i was not 100% happy and limited by my MINI´s smaller build plate so i took some measurments, started up Fusion and did some redesign to little Shaun. Leave some comments if you like it and have a good time printing! Features / Things i changed: Body Redesigned the body to be printed in four parts and glued together Removed the back wall because i didn´t find it to be necessary the Body itself is a bit thinner than the original to save some extra filament Legs / Feet New feet design Legs are made from reused plastic rods (outer 18 mm/ inner 15 mm) and can be pluged and/or glued into the feet and body Legs can also be modeled in Prusa Slicer with a cylinder and be adapted to the hight you want Diameter 18 mm / Length 130 mm Head splitted the eyes from the body so it can be printed separately and then glued together print file for the eyes has a color-swap after 5 layers to change from white to black filament How i did it: Remodeled the sheeps body based on the measurements i took from some toilet paper rolls (Diameter 130 mm / Width 100 mm) 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Cutted the body with 90° profiles to make a nice corner for gluing 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media designed new feet, integrated the legs and imported the head 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Printing instructions: General: PLA 0,6 mm Nozzle 0,3 mm Layer Hight Eyes, head, feet and legs (if you decide to print them) need no supports the Body is seperated in four parts and i recommend brim and supports for the mounting points of the legs the color swap on the eyes is done with the standard M600 command Tools/Materials used: Fusion 360 a good old caliper super glue (cyanoacrylate) Filament: DAS FILAMENT - 1,75 mm PLA - matt black DAS FILAMENT - 1,75 mm PLA - matt white plastic rod (Diameter 18 mm / Length 130 mm) ( optional )
