Description
Silly Shell Launcher Attachment fits the Silly SCAR thread and you can also shoot darts through it! Airtight launcher for Silly Shells for 16mm aluminium barrels. Fits all Silly Scar threaded nuts and uses also an o-ring seal to the aluminium barrel. I widened the air channel to create a passage for shooting darts from the blaster itself (if no Silly Shell is equipped). This attachment also works great with my Threaded FOXBAT Muzzle System . I have also designed a Silly Shell with 3 separate airtight barrels for 6x Short Darts or 3x Elite Darts, for better dart fit and no air pressure loss, to get more power out of a multi dart Silly Shell. I added it to the download files too. The barrel opening should be checked to see if it needs some rework with a file or sandpaper because of the z-seam and the upper Edge. I've also designed a few other unconventional multi-dart silly shells with separate airtight barrels or spigots: * 6x / 9x / 12x Short Dart Silly Shell (+Triple Ramrod) * 4x / 5x MEGA Dart Spigot Silly Shell * SNIPER + MEGA XL Spigot Silly Shell The files are already pre-oriented. My print settings for the attachment and the nut: 0,2mm layer height 5 walls 20% gyroid infill 7 top and bottom shell layers for the lever: 0,2mm layer height 7 walls 20% gyroid infill 7 top and bottom shell layers for the Silly Shell: 0,2mm layer height at least 5 walls 20% gyroid infill at least 7 top and bottom shell layers Sillybutts recommends 100% infill for the first 13mm of the Silly Shells (if you are able to set this in your slicer, this is the way) 12/12/2024 Update I have upscaled the Silly Shell adapter by 0.5% so that it is not so tight and the shells are easier to remove. 12/31/2024 Update I added a large version of the nut (38mm diameter). To make clipping and ejecting the shells even easier: Please make sure to completely remove the support residue on the rim and to sand the flat surface underneath a little to make it smoother and apply a thin layer of silicone oil there and rub it in. A little sanding on the upper edges on the left and right of the shell carriage can also help. I also rubbed these edges inside of the shell carriage with a thin layer of silicone oil. Thanks to Sillybutts and Paperskeletons3D for the files that I could use for this remix.
