Description
This is a simple buzzer device for use with the repeatable CNC origin fixture here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7301429 It requires the following materials: 9V Battery 9V Battery Connector ( https://a.co/d/0dfPKkh2 ) 220 ohm resistor (to reduce the output voltage of the battery) 5V Buzzer Component ( https://a.co/d/08kOc1PC ) (Optional) 2-pin JST connector ( https://a.co/d/02yQOolS ) (Optional) CNC Z-Probe ( https://a.co/d/0faWaeou ) This can be used for any application where all you are sensing is connectivity. You could simply use a multimeter on the connectivity setting to approximate this function. I just wanted a standalone device. Areas for improvement : would be nice in a future iteration to include a switch to turn it on or off, and an LED to light up when connection happens. And maybe the switch could switch between Off, Buzzer + Light, or Light Only.
