Description
This is a shoe shelf made using Bed slats (the wood that is normally under the mattress) and designed to not take a lot of time printing while using limited amount of material. There are some variations depending on whether the wood used is rounded or not since in my case its rounded i used the shoe_shelf_open and could use shoe_shelf_closed. if the wood piece is not i recommend using the not-rounded ones since it might not fit. to secure the print firmly onto the wood i recommend using glue(super-glue or wood-glue) The closed one give more structural rigidity but also takes more time to print and takes more material. The non rounded ones can be used for wood that is rounded but the wood might fall out if no glue was used. The length of wood depends on your preference ,the width is 147.6mm and the thickness is 22.6mm. i recommend scaling the model to fit the wood you are working with. The gap between the floor and the wood is around 16 cm. It takes around 5 hours for the open versions and around 6 hours for the closed ones(depending on your printer and slicer settings). Can be printed in a 200mm printer or bigger.
