Description
Made my own version of Skadis T-Nuts, since I found M2 hex nuts to be too unreliable. These T-Nuts are designed to fit heat-set inserts (M2) from the back. They can be inserted from the front and will lock themselves when tightened. Compatible with the “Skadis T-Nuts Mounting System” by 6d6178 . Tag “ skadisnut ”. They print fine on a 0.4 & 0.6 mm nozzle (settings below). Usability Tips: When inserting the heat-set inserts, they may not be perfectly aligned. Also a small barrier of plastic may partially block the way to the threads. In both cases I found it very helpful to just once fully screw in a screw from the back. Blocking plastic will be pushed out. Print settings: Filament: PLA Layer height: 0.2 mm (0.4 nozzle) / 0.33 mm (0.6 nozzle) Infill: 100% Perimeters: 3 Support: not needed Top/bottom fill pattern: monotonic lines Top/bottom solid layers: 4/3 Design Origin Full remodel, but heavily inspired by the original “ Skadis T-Nuts Mounting System for Ikea Skadis Pegboards ”.
