Description
This is “Sleeve for Fiberlogy New Filament Spool” for an amazing project " Filament Spool Switcher & Winder ". Design by @MiklosKiszely_486882 I consume a lot of Fiberlogy filaments. So I'm left with a lot of empty spools. The new versions of the spools have a removable cardboard center. They can be used to rewind filament for incompatible spools for AMS System. That's why I designed an extended version of the “Sleeve for Fiberlogy New Filament Spools” replacing the cardboard version to fit the “ Filament Spool Switcher and Winder” . The original spool is not compatible for Spool Winder. The sleeve has dimensions - External x Internal x Height: 100.2 x 95.2 x 56 mm . It has holes to hook the beginning of the filament. When you complete the project, please share a photo and a comment. Thank you and have a nice day. IMPORTANT - READ: Note that each printer is calibrated differently, has individual user settings, and each uses different types and manufacturers of filaments. Print the “Fibarlogy New Spool - Sleeve - Test.stl” test file to check the correct dimensions. I also noticed that the center of some spools are different in size. Also pay attention to this and take measurements. How to print ? : Material : Use as intended. If you will be drying the filament, use the appropriate material for the sleeve. Otherwise, you can print with PLA. Layer Height : 0.2mm Infill : 100% Wall Loops : 4 Bottom Layers : 4 Top Layers : 4 Support : No Brim : No
