Description
This box prints as a single piece, up to 5x at a time on a Prusa i3 mk3s using .2mm layer heights and a .4 mm nozzle. I use the “generic PLA” profile with the .2mm fast profile in prusa slicer and get great results. As a general tip, bend the lid and close the box while its still hot off the printer so it doesn't stress the plastic as much. I stock a lot of different varieties of hex screws for 3d printing projects and they all come in various shaped cases that are not easy to stack or organize. This box is specifically designed to allow for stackability and ease of organization. Need 20mm long 3mm wide black flat head screws and 12mm long 3mm wide silver button cap screws but don't want to drag out both boxes? This print is for you! The tray to hold 5x of these boxes is now complete, it provides a friction fit while still allowing for easy removal. Next up, designing a cabinet to store a lot of trays in!
