Description
This is an enhancement of "Snow" Globe Christmas Lithophane from Sebastian that is a remix of "Snow" Globe Christmas Lithophane from Taylor Herrin . I made a base for 3x AA batteries and power switch that you can use to build your own LED light. If you already printed the original model mentioned above like me, you can just print the base.stl and glue the globe to it. Or you can merge the models together and print it in one piece. The basic setup for 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm layer is good enough. I printed it with Prusament PETG Signal White. Next to the prints you will also need: Socket for 3x AA batteries like https://www.gme.cz/v/1506794/ace-sn-33-1-c-drzak-baterie-3xaa Power switch SMRS-101-1C3-B/B or similar https://www.gme.cz/v/1498121/smrs-101-1c3-b-b-kolebkovy-spinac Bright enough wide angle LED like https://www.gme.cz/v/1503351/optosupply-osm5xa56e1r-150ma-led-5mm-tepla-bila Resistor with value necessary to limit current for your LED choice The socket is fixed with a glue gun inside. The warm white LED I chose is bright a bit much for a night light and emits 14400 mcd @ 150 mA with angle of 140 degrees. So I reduced the light and the current to about 20 mA with 75 Ohm resistor. This gives also much longer battery life time. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media
