Description
If you feel like your Hedronstack pieces interlock with too much play, then this remix is for you. Compared to the original pieces, these interlock with 30% smaller gaps. The pieces are more satisfying to place with less free-play, the structures are more stable and are less likely to lean. This remix includes 41 pieces - 8 pieces of Hedronstack , 29 pieces of Pentacells and 4 pieces of the Confounders remix by vidision . Rules and bases for playing can be found here . Contents Snug fitting pieces: Snug-HedronStack-Pieces-Set.stl - Snug fitting original set of 8 pieces. Snug-Pentacells-8-Set.stl - Preselected set of 8 Pentacells pieces. Snug-Pentacells-planar.stl - 12 Pentacells pieces where all truncated octahedrons are in one plane. Snug-Pentacells-nonplanar.stl - 15 Pentacells pieces that are nonplanar, but don't require supports. Snug-Pentacells-nonplanar-with-supports.stl - 2 Pentacells pieces that are nonplanar and must be printed with supports. Snug-Confounders.stl - 4 Confounders pieces. For 3D printing These pieces require a well calibrated 3D printer and well tuned print profile to interlock freely. Pieces printed with mixed materials (e.g. PLA and PETG) might not fit together freely due to different shrinkage of the materials. After printing, make sure to remove brims and elephant’s foot. The pieces should interlock freely, with no friction or sticking. For remixing Compared to the original pieces, the distance between opposite square faces of the truncated octahedron increased from 19.7 mm to 19.8 mm.
