Description
⚠⚠ DON'T LOOK AT THE SUN WITH A TELESCOPE ⚠⚠ I can't stress that enough. Serious damage when used improperly. This was designed to go on top of the Hadley Telescope . This adapter specifically fits the SVBONY SV229 Solar Filter . It needs to be any filter that is larger than 155mm. PLEASE do your research on filters before you buy one. It must be properly rated. The adapter will fit snuggly on the ½ in poles in the original model. you may need to reem out the holes if they don't fit or if you want them snugger. From the Origanal Model - INPORTANT "NEVER POINT IT AT THE SUN Seriously - remember frying ants in a magnifying glass? Well, this is a really big magnifying glass. For more advanced users looking to do solar observing with proper filters - be aware the open design of Hadley will focus sunlight outside of the optical path as well, so this really needs a full baffle (a cardstock tube, even). AVOID HEAT This is true of any print in PLA - if it reaches 110F, say in a hot car, the prints will deform. ABS/PETG makes can worry less, though I have had PETG (slightly) deform in the Texas heat." ---- Don't even take it outside without a baffle and solar filter on it. if light can get in through DONT TAKE OUTSIDE OR LOOK IN IT *I'm not responsible for any misuse of the model and improper viewing practices resulting in injuries. Don't be dumb, be safe!!!!
