Description
The file is a housing to make a desktop solder exhaust fan. It doesn't have any filtering, but at least it will suck the fumes away from your face. Materials list 80x80mm fan (12v) Switch: 20x15mm 9v Battery and snap Red LED (and 470ohm resistor) adjust the resistor and LED if you use a different battery or power supply obviously. M2 screw ~10mm (for battery compartment) 4x M4 bolts 25mm (for attaching the fan) I used a 12v fan powered by a 9v batt, it's not optimal but it works. The fan is very tightly fitting into its space, I didn't even need the bolts to be honest, but added them just to look more finished. I didn't put any special effort into the tolerance of the holes, because I was just going to put in some heat inserts, but when it printed I found that it was just about right for all the hardware just screwing directly into the holes. Print laying on its back, with a few tree supports, should be pretty straight forward.
