Description
This is a work in progress So I made this model, to try to improve the solderpipe. I thought the solderpipe was a great idea, but it was just to hard to dispense the solder. For me this remix works quite well but it has some flaws. I plan on doing a complete redesign, but I would like some feedback. So if you don't have anything to print, please print this and tell me how its working for you. I use 0.8mm solder, but different thicknesses will probably also work, because the tolerance is quite tight for my 0.8. If it needs to be bigger/smaller you could also scale the gear a bit up or down in you slicer. You need one skate bearing (608) to complete this model. I will also add a no bearing version in the future. I added a version with custom supports in the arch at the bottom. That version prints without supports. The rest of the parts of this model are the same as the original model.
AI Analysis: This is a soldering tool designed for holding and positioning a soldering iron during electronic work. It features a gear mechanism to secure the iron in place and a clamp for stability. The bright yellow center helps identify the active position for precise soldering tasks.
