Description
10/12/2022: Uploaded the correct nut and lead. The first ones were mirrored. The drill was inspired by push drills such as this one by LoboCNC: https://www.printables.com/model/132326-push-drill-with-adjustable-chuck The chuck is based on this one made by BManx2000 with a slight modification to the shaft: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2625085 This is my third and best iteration of the model. BOM: 2x 608RS Ball Bearings (8x22x7) 2x 693ZZ Mini Ball Bearings (3x8x4) (You could print a bushing of the same size instead) Misc. Screws (I used what I had on hand, mostly M2 and M3) Spring or elastic band (The stronger the spring, the stronger the drill but it makes it harder to pull. Experimenting is key. I don't have a particular model to recommend as I modified a spring I found) Printing: PLA (mostly) PETG (I used PETG for the chuck as it gives a better grip on the drill bit, PLA should be fine though) I printed with 5 walls thickness with a 20% infill, but these can be experimented with. Supports are needed for most parts, it will be obvious. Consider buying me coffee! https://www.buymeacoffee.com/franksoul
