Description
This is a 4" Speaker LED Ring. It's designed to use 5050 LED strips and has a gap for the wiring to stick out for easy installation. My game, Wrath of Cthulhu uses 4" Flipper Fidelity speakers which has a diagonal distance of 4 3/8" between mounting holes. If you are using these speakers from Flipper Fidelity, congratulations, this will work perfectly. If not, this design can be a guide to make your own speaker rings. Please share if you go this route. Kudos to Barrels of Fun pinball, which is using a similar design for their Labyrinth pinball machine. I did some research and liked their design best. The LED's aim at the speaker, which I like better, than aiming at the player. I find this to be more pleasing. My design changes a bit where, my LED strip is inside the diameter of the mounting holes so as not to cast shadows, and of course it's smaller. I'm using a clear filament which will act like a diffuser too. Bari Jo Berman Dream Alchemist Wrath of Cthulhu
