Description

Quick remix of a case for the GX590 / GX591 spot welder with a range of small dimensional tweaks and a few additions. Most notably, there's a mounting point for a 25mm fan right above the MOSFETs. This is optional - there's also a file without fan accommodations. Additionally, I expanded the holes for the input and output leads to allow for some extra wiggle room. For mounting / assembly, I didn't see the point of using threaded inserts on such low-stress joints, so the screw holes have been resized for you to directly tap M3 bolts into the plastic. Finally, the bendy strips for the buttons seemed a little long for what was needed, so I shortened them. There are a few other bits of tweaking and polishing, but that pretty much covers it. Thanks to trimex / Illia Dudnyk for the original file! P.S. I wired the cooling fan in series with a 45C thermal switch - that way it turns on automatically when the spot welder is heating up under load.
