Description
The cable end link is designed to be attached to the underside of a desk. I added a cutout for a command strip with the adhesive section cut down to 50mm L. I ended up using a pair of hook and loop command strips for this, but any kind should work. Alternatively, if you're okay with a more permanent solution you could simply glue around the edge and stick it to the desk. Tips: The underside of the links will likely have some defects due to the overhang, but if you clean them up a bit it won't hinder the chain's movement. I used a file and some sand paper. I recommend using a deburring tool and sanding the holes in the links, it will still work without this step but the movement won't be as smooth. I recommend working the chain in by hand before installing it, this will help to smooth out the movement. For reference I used standard PLA with 15% infill and had no issues. My best results have been in the prusa slicer using snug rectilinear supports and the automatic support painting tool.
