Star Trek TOS Tricorder Remix

This s a remix of the awesome Original Series tricorder by UnimatrixRed I changed the width between the frame edges to match a picture that I saw of the original being measured by The Wand Company for their soon to be released Tricorder. I also made the top of the hood, frame and sides a little less rounded. I made holes in the two front doors so that metal rods (14 gauge wire) could be used for hinges. I printed all of the exterior Black part with the “fuzzy skin” texture to get the look of the original Kydex haircell parts. I also added holes for screw heads to match the ones on the original near the strap holes and on the back. I used the following filament for the metallic parts as it had a much more metallic look that was closer to the original aluminum parts. NOTE 2: The photo of my build of the remix has an actual metal face-plate that I purchased on eBay and the moire pattern is printed on photo paper.
