Description
Tired of having your Aqara G410 chime hanging out of a wall outlet or stuck to a wall with wires everywhere? This 3D-printable housing lets you hide the tech and make it look like a classic mechanical doorbell box. It’s the perfect "stealth" upgrade for anyone using the Aqara G4 system who wants a clean, hardwired look using the house's original doorbell wiring. 🛠️ Why build this? Integrated Power: I designed the internal plate to fit an LM2596HV AC/DC to DC Buck Converter perfectly. This lets you tap into your home's existing 16V–24V AC doorbell wires and convert them to the 5V DC the chime needs. Factory Look: The G410 sits inside a recessed frame with a slatted grille. You get 100% of that 95dB volume while keeping the microSD slot and status lights out of sight. No Mess: No USB bricks, no dangling cables—just a clean, professional-looking box on the wall. 📋 Tech Specs Compatibility: Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G410 Chime / Hub (Model CH-C09) Power Module: Made for the LM2596HV (AC/DC to DC Step Down) Power Input: Standard 12V-24V AC/DC doorbell transformer wires Power Output: 5V DC via USB-C Mounting: Simple two-screw wall plate Material: I'd recommend PETG or ABS since the voltage regulator can get a bit warm. Print Settings: Designed to be printed with NO SUPPORTS . ⚠️ Important Install Note This is a low-voltage project, but you still need to be careful! Use a multimeter to tune the LM2596HV buck converter to exactly 5V DC before you plug it into your Aqara chime. You don't want to fry your hardware.
