It functions as the secure connection between the acrylic cube base and the smoke column (stem). It ensures that the stem is perfectly fixed in place, providing the necessary stability for the entire setup—including the Vulcan HMD, Silicone Phunnel Bowl, and the dual-hose system. Technical Specifications Recommended Slicing Settings for Maximum Stability To ensure this component can withstand the mechanical stress of the smoke column and remains airtight, we recommend the following print settings: Support Material: Enable Tree Supports for easier removal and cleaner surfaces on overhangs. Infill Density: 60% This ensures high structural integrity. Infill Pattern: Gyroid Best for even strength distribution in all directions. Printing Temperature: 225°C (PLA) The higher-than-average temperature is chosen to maximize layer bonding for a stronger, more solid part. Fan Speed: 50% Lowering the fan speed allows the layers to fuse more effectively, significantly increasing the overall stability and pressure resistance. ⚠️ Reminder: As mentioned above, the inner hole might still require manual finishing (sanding/grinding) to achieve a custom, perfect fit for your specific stem.
