Description
Admit it. You don't mount your spools correctly. They're misaligned and they wobble as they spin and vary the tension as your print progresses. This stepped nut gives you effortless perfect angular alignment with the shaft at the expense of a small amount of eccentricity (<= 2mm), but it's not like you were that careful about the eccentric offset in the first place. Or at least I wasn't. And if you were, you can save some time readjusting it. This covers spool IDs between 42-70mm and maintains a similar overall size to the original. Print instructions Change colors at 4.2mm to have just the flange a different color, and add color changes in 1.6mm increments thereafter to align with the steps.
