Description

This is a remix of the pawWeather Solar radiation shield... sort of. The only real things I have added at this point is a mount created for the Ecowitt wh32 to stand up vertically in the bottom of the sensor and some 1/4"x20 thumbnuts to out on the top to allow for easy toolless access to the sensor cavity. It is also to let you know how many layers you need for the ecowitt sensor. The nice thing about this design is that it is so expandable and also roomy inside. The Original shield only had 9 layers total, 2 top 2 bottom and 5 Middle, which made it too short for the Ecowitt Sensor. I had to add 3 more complete inner ring assembly's to make it just tall enough for the sensor to stand up inside using the mount I added to the mix. so you have the 2 top layer the 2 bottom layers and 8 middle layers. Basically adding 3 more Outer Hollow Rings and 3 more Inner Long Rings. I designed the thumbscrews extra long so you could leave the bolts a little long for future expansion with out having to be replaced. The included .3mf file has all the pieces of the original Shield plus my additions spread out on 12 plates. It was created from a profile in the AnycubicNext Slicer on an AnyCubic Kobra S1 Combo with the ACE Pro installed. I am working on adding a 6V trail cam solar panel to the top of the unit to charge a central LIPO battery to power the WN32 and an Ecowitt Lightning detector inside as well. I will post these as soon as I get them done.
