Take your rocket to new heights This remix of the Desktop Whomp Rocket by LoboCNC makes use of a redesigned base and some bellows that you will print in TPU. This not only allows for fist pounding, foot stomping action but can actually launch your rockets higher! Be CAREFUL! Rockets will launch HIGH and FAST. NEVER point the rocket towards any living thing. Rockets launched at high speed have the potential to hurt, cause significant damage to eyes, and may leave dents in your walls and ceilings. You take full responsibility if you print this and make use of it. Tips for success The base can be printed easily in PLA. The bellows, however, take some skill. TPUs are different - you may need to experiment with settings. I recommend a TPU between 92A-95A on the Shore hardness scale. Are you getting ripples in the folds of the bellows close to the print bed? Ironically, raising the temperature a bit may actually help! When printing colder (220C), I was getting holes and ripples close to the bed. At 240C, I was getting more consistent results. Experiment! I recommend layer heights of no more than 0.15mm - this will maximize overlap of layers, improving your chances of airtight bellows. Have success? Share your results and tips for printing!
