Description
Remix of a remix. For use with 10" rack modules. This design is meant to enable one build a low profile server, network or whichever equipment fits in a 10" rack. While idea is to print supporting structures and buy the rack rails to finish the build, it is definitely possible to print the rails as well even if that would not provide as much structural rigidity. These are the parts one needs to build this rack: 4x Rack Rails (I used - Adam Hall 61535B6 ) 4x M5 16mm screws 12x M5 12mm screws 12x M5 nuts and washers, when no side panels are used 24x M5 nuts and washers, when side panels are used Optionally add the side panels for extra rigidity. Without the side panels there was a small amount of sway from the front to the back. With panels the rack is sturdy and there is no more sway. Thanks @KTriponis and @UjangKarnadi for the original design and remix! Update 2025-06-18 Added side panels for extra rigidity. Update 2025-06-09 Added frame-support-top-and-bottom-with-cutout.stl, added a cutout to allow space for rack panels touching the frame supports.
