Stype RedSpy to 15mm Rod Adapter (Mo-Sys Style)

This is a custom-designed adapter for the Stype RedSpy sensor, allowing it to be mounted onto standard 15mm rod systems (LWS). It is specifically optimized for a perfect fit with the SmallRig Super Lightweight 15mm RailBlock v3. Inspired by the Mo-Sys StarTracker mounting style, this piece provides a low-profile, professional solution to mount your RedSpy sensor onto the top rods of your camera rig. Key Features: High Rigidity: Ensures the sensor is rock-solid with zero movement or vibration during tracking. Anti-Twist Design: Includes a square guide slot to prevent the sensor from rotating. It also features two additional screw points to lock the rotation when paired with the SmallRig RailBlock. CNC Optimized: Designed for easy manufacturing. The "single-sided" design allows it to be machined on a desktop CNC without the need for complex fixtures or professional vises. Manufacturing & Material Recommendations: Recommended Material: Brass. It offers optimum stiffness and low thermal expansion for precision tracking. Aluminum (6061/7075) is also a great alternative. Post-Processing: All sharp edges should be filed/deburred after machining for ergonomics and cable safety. Hardware Required: 2x Short 1/4" Allen Head Screws (for RailBlock connection). 1x Long 1/4" Allen Head Screw (for the Sensor itself). Note: Using Allen head screws is crucial for achieving the necessary torque to prevent looseness.
