Description

The Origin of this Project lies back in May 2021. I wanted to design a dynamite clock to entry the competition of Timekeepers but Pieter was faster. Then I started to design a grenade with a random countdown. I just didn't want to make a normal clock but a game instead. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and I couldn't finish it. Finally, the Tabletop Games and Puzzles contest launched and I become excited again. I finished the grenade and thought about other elements of a board game. In the end, the Idea of "table war" was born. That's why I love to taking part in a designing competition! It push my creativity, gives my motivation to finish a project…and makes me crazy, because time is always short! In the designing process, I wanted to focus on following things: - no soldering (grove connections; self-made battery case) - no screws (printed clips and threads only) - just plug and play (as less glue and support as possible) I also wanted to use an Arduino and some components. It's my first Arduino project. I had no programming skills at all. Be aware: If you start using this stuff you'll get addicted for sure:-) You need some electric parts: - Arduino Nano Board (A000005) - Grove Shield für Arduino Nano, Seeed Studio (103100124) - Grove Button (P), Seeed Studio (111020000) - Grove Buzzer, Seeed Studio (107020000) - Grove Vibration Motor, Seeed Studio (105020003) - Grove 4-Digit Display, Seeed Studio (104030003) - Grove 4-Pin Cable 20cm Set (110990027) - Grove 4-Pin Cable 5cm Set (110990036) You need also some other parts: - three AA-Batteries (Mignon) - a rubber band (you can also print one in soft TPU) - a side cutter - two dice - USB cable You need to download Arduino IDE and TM1637 Library: - Arduino IDE (Version 1.8.15) - TM1637 Library Special thanks goes to djwhouse from Grayslake, United States! He has adjusted the errors and gaps in the code. In addition, he has also put a very good new idea into the code. Upgrade: - new battery cover (2x AA-Battery) - small board (for Prusa Mini) If you like my work and want to support me, I am happy about any donation :-) PayPalMe BuyMeACoffee
