Description
Remix of the Lack Enclosure for my Sovol SV06, largely based on DarkDoldier 's make, but will fit any taller printer of a similar size. Parts: 3mm x 440mm x 540mm Acrylic Sheets (Two, for the sides) 3mm x 220mm x 540mm Acrylic Sheets (Four, for the doors) A XT60 30cm Extension Cable (Male to Female) Superglue (For securing the Table Connectors) M6 x 20 Screws (Four, to attach Table Connectors) M6 x 160 Screws (Four, to attach Bottom Corners and Leg Spacers) M6 x 50 Screws (Four, to attach to Top Corners) 3.5 x 25 Screws (Multiple, to attach the all other components) Edits: I increased the clearance at the top of the printer by a few cm, to match the original by Prusa, and allow for the use of their filament guide. I also added cable passthrough holes on the top of the legs, echoing the bottom, which gives a neater finish for anything mounted onto the roof of the enclosure. To allow for better airflow, when printing PLA, I put hinges on the back and attached two doors which are easily removed or left off entirely. The design still allows for a 440mm x 540mm solid back though, if desired. I edited the hinges, to echo the triangular design of the sides and designed a fresh support for half way up the plexiglass, as others have suggested that this is prone to warping. I had some spare push open door catches and so used these, allowing for minimal door handles. I used this PSU mount: https://www.printables.com/model/511152-power-supply-lack-table-mount-sovol-sv06 And made this tool, which makes alighting the holes for the Table Connectors simple: https://www.printables.com/model/511298-ikea-lack-corner-hole-guide Finally, I added rubber feet for levelling and vibration dampening, which seem to work well. All parts are printed in PETG.
