Description
This tape measure can be stored easily in your sewing drawer on a gridfinity baseplate. As I use a baseplate to be used with a single magnet in the center of each element, a screw in the bottom of the tape measure case is pulled to the base by this magnet. This holds the case in place, as can be seen in the pictures. Two sizes are available for different tape measure sizes, the smaller one for a tape thickness of ~0,2mm and the larger one for a tape thickness of ~0,3mm. Additional materials 2 × 6mm M3 steel screws (not stainless) 1 × tape measure 150 cm / 60 ft with a metal end of 13mm width and 10 mm length 1 × 6mm×3mm neodynium magnet (diameter × height) [optional] Printing Printing from PLA is sufficient 0.2 mm layer height Assembly Screw on nob. Fasten screw until the nob does not wobble but can be turned with ease. insert end of tape measure into slit of inner part. insert inner part into outer part and connect them with a second screw.
