Description
As I already designed and published a few models to improve the grip of the Bilresa scroll wheel, I had the idea to use these Technic gears as well. I find the 24 tooth gear pretty iconic as it reminds me of all the Lego Technic sets I had when I was a kid. Therefore, I used it first and scaled it up to fit the scroll wheel and make printing on my FDM-printer a bit easier. As I was satisfied with the outcome, I also used the 40 tooth gear to see if it prints OK without scaling. I think it turned out quite well, too. Bonus: the 40 tooth gear meshes with the original gears and thus could be driven by a Technic model. I designed them to have a circular base that can be stuck onto the scroll wheel. I printed the base in white PLA and then switched to light grey PLA for the gears themselves. Layer height was 0.1 mm.
