Description
Designed this to add a tensioner to my Hadley Neumo. The adapter clamps onto existing rockers using M3x12 bolts and threaded inserts. The center bolt can either be M4 or M5 with matching threaded inserts. A more elegant solution would be to remix the rockers themselves, but I already had mine and didn't want to reprint them. BOM: 6x M3x12 DIN 7991 screws 6x M3 threaded inserts (same size as for Hadley Neumo) 1x M4 OD 6mm (same as for Marci's Mount ) or M5 OD 7mm (same as for Hadley Neumo) threaded insert and a matching long bolt Printing: For one rocker, print 3 brackets and a face plate that matches your large bolt and insert size. Assembly: Insert 2 M3 threaded inserts from the back of each bracket. Insert the large threaded insert from the back of the face plate. Clamp the adapter onto the rocker and screw in the large bolt.
AI Analysis: This is a mechanical part designed for mounting and adjusting a telescope. It features a central bolt that secures the tensioner mechanism, which is used to adjust the tension of the telescope's optical system. The component includes a yellow and green structural assembly with a circular wheel and adjustment knobs, providing a stable and precise mounting solution for astronomical telescopes.
