The Leviathan Axe combo

Boy! did this project turn out amazing! So thrilled to share my 3D-printed God of War Leviathan Axe, complete with working lights! ✨ I went for the best of both worlds: Oddworks' design for the axe head (printed with transparent filament for that glow!) and Speedy's reinforced handle remix. Talk about a powerful combo! The build was a journey: hot knife and filament welding to join the pieces (and yes, a few burnt fingers along the way! 🔥), soldering for the electronics, and a rechargeable battery. For that extra touch of authenticity, I even cast the rune stones myself in resin – a printed version just wouldn't have looked as real! After all that, it was lots of sanding, painting, and then adding that epic battle damage and weathering. It truly looks like it's been through the Nine Realms! This was such a fun project, and the result is incredible. My son is absolutely thrilled... the dog, not so much. 😂 What do you think? Let me know if you're ready for Ragnarök! -- The battery 2-cell compartment holder with integrated spring is design I found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:941081 Thanks to @enif on Thingiverse. -- The Battery holder - Leviathan Axe You slid in the battery 18650 2-cell compartment and slide the whole tube into the axe head top. The 3 holes in the bottom line out the the reinforced handle of Speedy. 2 slots are for adding a ledstrip to light up the gems and the other 2 is for manoeuvring past the cap ring I added to early in the process.
