Description
This attachment enables a spray can to spray a stream of Oil/Wax or Brake-fluid directly and only to the chain (i.e. avoiding overspray onto bike frame , tires and disk rotors) , less mess, less waste and more time to ride…….. I am blown away with the interest this bike work tool has sparked, thanks for your support, kind words, and most of all the requests for new ideas and modifications to keep the project fresh and alive….cheers 🍻 All bikes have chains, they periodically need attention in one way or another, an advantage with this attachment is that “One Size Fits All” [Its been updated to V3.0 (with end flutes) this enables it to glide smoother along the chain. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media It uses minimal filament, its a very quick print and as a result its looking better for its revamp]. V1.2 and V.2 are also still here in the downloads. Print instructions :- Print with “C” channel facing the build plate, there is very little overhang so even prints without support. PETG gets my vote for filament, it will stand the test of time in the depths of the Tool box, PLA also works and with TPU you can squeeze it tighter around the chain whilst spraying. Quick NB. Its purpose is for oiling the chain however it can equally be used with de-greasing spray for deep tlc cleaning, it's advisable to spray with the “C” channel facing the floor into a container or rag to catch the grit and grimes that are sprayed out of the chain. User Manual :- Step 1: Attach the Device Snap the nozzle onto your spray can. A short connect tube to the spray can allows it to glide easier along the chain. The hole in the attachment is long fluted from 3mm down to 2mm , which enables you to wedge any spray tubing into the fitting, sealing the deal with no leaks. Style warning: do not aim at your clean best bicycle sockz you'll need those to wipe the excess lubricant off later 😉 Step 2: Aim for the Chain Align carefully around the chain, it spans approximately 3 link pins. Step 3: Press & Spray With a short gentle press, Mist wooshes the chain links. In the Video you can see how the oil hits just the “Sweet-Spot” and soaks the pin and roller. Step 4: Admire Your Work and get on you bike. Fresh lubed Chain, itching for Kms/Miles. Wipe any excess off with clean sockz. Hands, bike and disk brake rotors escape contamination. Step 5: Maintenance & Storage Basically the nozzle self cleans. There is a nifty hole on the nozzle part to thread through some wire/string/brake cable for hanging purposes. Store near other “essential Bike-fi gadgets.” Ideally for chain maintenance only the rollers/roller pins of the chain need Lube, this attachment ensures that, only with the cavet that excess Lube is better to be dabbed away, this stops dirt clinging to the chain, which in turn helps with less dirt/dust build up and easier maintenance. Bonus :- Added a 20mm Gap version download for Motor “Bikes” 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 17/09/25 Update :- 15mm gap "ELEGOO-Loober" resin printer 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media
