Description
Thanks for all of the support on this model, and make sure you check out some of my others! V2 OUT NOW Original model by @PracticeFili_2157914 at https://www.printables.com/model/941396-the-ultimate-finger-catapult-easy-to-print-updated Check original model for more information. Remixed the model to make it even more ultimate and stronger, larger, more capable, and have ammo. Full collection of files. WARNINGS AND NOTES: -If there are any supports on the bridge from the spring mechanism to the bucket, please remove them in the slicer using the support painting tool. -You may want to resize the spherical ammo in the slicer to 1cm so that it fits in the newest iterations. -My V1 print took about half an hour and used 8.72g of filament. -Supports are annoying and take around 5 mins to remove, but are necessary. -V2 needs a brim or bed adhesion support -My V2 print took 33mins and used 9.58g of filament -Please leave a comment for any questions or concerns Print Settings (finger catapult ultimate remix.stl and V2): Wall Loops/Perimeters: 1000 Layer Height: 0.12mm (smaller layer heights seem to do better with overhangs.) Supports: Auto generated tree supports on build plate only. Infill: 69% Orientation: default, with the widest/tallest part of the handle touching the bed Brim: on Print Settings (ammo): Wall Loops/Perimeters: 1000 Layer Height: 0.08mm (smaller layer heights provide better quality. If you don't care about that, set yours higher) Supports: none, some may be wanted on the spherical ammo to make it look better, but not necessary. Infill: 69% Orientation: default, on its bottom face. Ironing Settings: Ironing Type: Topmost surface only Ironing Spacing: 0.1mm Ironing Speed: 15mm/s Ironing flow: 8% Leave a comment if you want anymore advice on print settings. I am quite active on this account so should respond soon. Printed on Creality Ender 3 V3 Core XZ
