EDIT (04/11/2022) : Added an annex to detail how I attached the plumbob into the headband and the small cylinder .STL file. The original design, was intended to use 6 x 3 mm cilindrical neodymium magnets to keep the two parts together. Also, in order to attatch the finished part to the headband, a hole for a 1.6 mm diameter metal wire was made at the botton. This being said, I will upload these two iterations of the same model: the original one with all the holes and one without the holes. If you do not intent to attatch the Plumbob anywhere, you may only want to print the upper part of the design two times to make a complete one, as these two parts (the upper and lower parts) are simetrical except for the metal wire fitting hole attatchment in the botton part. Print Settings Printed in PLA, without supports or rafts, at 0.2mm resolution and 100% infill. The two parts can be printed as they are, without any additional supports. Post-Printing To keep the two parts together, you can do the same as I did, and use magnets, making the two parts detachable when needed, or you can simply glue them. Assembly The assembly is pretty straightforward. In the following GIF we can see how it will be in the case that we use magnets: 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Annex To attach the plumbob you can basically use any headband. In my case, for better attachment, I also printed a small hollow cylinder (it's in the uploaded files) and drilled a small hole into the headband (as shown in the photos below). Also, I recommend you sand the portion of the headband that will be glued with the cylinder. For general recommendations I will add the following ones: Don’t make the wire too long, the printed part is quite weighty and the whole assembly could become very top heavy. For the headband, use one that has good grip and that is fairly wide. I think the ones that are wrapped in fabric (if that makes sense) would do a nice job. In my case, I had to cut a bit of the sides in order to the plumbob to sit straight in my head. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media
AI Analysis: This is a headband featuring a green plumbob-shaped ornament attached to a metallic headband. The plumbob is a diamond-shaped object with a bright green color, and the headband is designed to hold the plumbob securely. The plumbob is a common item in the Sims game series, often used as a decorative element to represent the plumbob in the game environment.
