Description
While planning the build for this masterpiece, I was unhappy with the inconsistency of the engraved vs embossed options. While it's obvious why, Some parts need to be printed “face” down so the embossed was not an option. I was not a fan of printing the face in gold and the rest in brown or vice versa, So I set out to find another way. I also increased the height of all embossing to 1mm total, up from 0.4mm. It made the gold stand out a bit more against the brown I chose. Divided priming-bar-engraved-center in half down the middle. -Applied some glue but unsure if it was actually needed. Made a cut on both priming-bar-guides-engraved left and right to split them each into two parts. -1x extra screw on both sides for a total of 2. I'm using M3x8mm but made to use the same hole sizes. -Made to used the same thread forming screws in the BOM and hardware kits, However I'm metric and didn't have any spare so in their place I'm using M3 x 8mm button heads and they work fine. I would recommend countersinks though. Extruded all embossed decal plates an extra 0.6mm to a total of 1mm, Or 5 layers at 0.2mm layer height, To allow more “pop”. -Looks pretty cool.
