Description
Backstory - Ben the Brachiosaurus had a neck problem. It became so bad that the Dino-Docs had to amputate his neck for his safety. Rather than feeling down, Ben saw an opportunity for an upgrade. He’d always loved playing Tetris on his DinoDeck. With help from some smart velociraptors, his neck was fitted with sturdy L-blocks and S-blocks and stacked with I-pieces on top to add height. They finished it off with a thick square block right under his head. Ben loved his new look. His neck now clicked and clacked with every move, and if he needed to reach higher trees, he simply swapped in a new block. He became the valley's first "Tetri-saurus," proving that a little change can make you even better than before. ________ The Game: The goal of the game is to outstack your opponent to see who can build the tallest Tetri-saurus using the different blocks. Players take turns rolling the dice to determine what block they have to put on next. Players build until someone makes a mistake and their dino neck falls over. The player still standing wins! ________ Printing: Dino body - Make sure to print it flat so the building area is also flat. Supports are needed. Dino head - You can print it with 10 to 15 bottom layers and then 10% infill to make it more stable, or you can print it normally to add a challenge. Normal settings allow it to stand up but make it more of a challenge to balance. Supports are needed. Blocks - Print these with whatever setting you want. The set of blocks is only for one person, so if you are playing with two people, you will need to print two sets of blocks and so on for more people. Dice - You can print these with 100% infill, or 0% infill with five walls, 5 bottom layers, and 5 top layers. These can be a little tricky. One pair works for everyone unless you want to print them in different colors for each player. The W stands for wide blocks and the N stands for normal or narrow blocks. ________ I enjoy modeling when I have the free time, and I finally found it. I really wanted to improve my Blender skills so here is my take on a balancing game! I decided to take an popular model and turn it into a fun game that all ages can enjoy, from the professional stacker to the younger players. I hope you enjoy this dino as much as I have enjoyed putting him together. Please post makes of him so I can see your tallest tetri-sauruses, or what might need to be improved. Thank you!!
