The Ultimate Cereal Container Filament Drybox - (un)Official Remix Nested Kit

So was half way through printing my first 6 filament dry boxes when Mark dropped a remix. Will give the original a try but decided to print the rest in the new style. I wanted a full kit in a single STL, Still learning and adjusting settings so I slice before each print. Laid out the minimum parts needed for the core set up in CAD and made some adjustments. Almost 220mm long so I split the nested kit in half to accommodate small printers. Added tabs like model car kits and simple supports at the axle slots I don't have a dryer and cant print ASA yet so I hope to use the lids that come with the containers. just in case I drew a new lid seal with a different grip design with almost no bridging. Print with the grip down and no supports needed The original coupler cap errors upon cad import for me so I drew a couple new versions of those too. Added some taper on the nut and filament fit up plus a little detent in the grip area as well. have printed several already. R2 is very close to original so you can use the clip to stow it. I keep breaking them so R3 is heavy duty. I can see why Mark prints the bowden with TPU, the flex would make a world of difference. Much stronger, got tired of cleaning up afte dropping one. https://www.printables.com/model/509152-stronger-silica-gel-spool-container I weigh them at initial load and subtract the supposed net weight then note the tare weight. then I can weigh and subtract tare for remainder. have several bowden tubes feeding my printers so I can easily choose of swap mid print. yeah, I want to automate that….. Update 5-25-2025; Coupler-cap R3 had an error. The small hole to capture filament before storage was too deep and created a hole in the end. I didnt see it in CAD because it was 0.01 mm away from a through cut. The Slicer rounded down and left an open hole. I just put a drop of glue on the few I printed before noticing. All parts have been replaced Update 6-2-2025; increase bearing clearance and hub shoulder, see photos. Only the newest revision stl's attached Update 6-18-2025; got an ask, so I added the hygrometer to the nested kit. Made a slight revision the the bearing carraige to make assembly easier. Added some vents to the desiccant lid although I got some stringing there. last, I acquired some cereal bins from another brand that had a larger lid indentation so I relieved the base frame, they use less filament now too.
