Description
The shade is 1/2 of a buckyball (C60 or buckministerfullerene), the elements represent the noble gases and noble metals and the column is a portion of the a diamond lattice (note that both a buckyball and diamond are elemental forms (allotropes) of carbon). To make everything except for the element windows, you need to print: 1 x Half Thicker (this is the 1/2 of a buckyball) 1 x Diamond Tower 1 x Top Holder 1 x Cap 1 x base A pendant light such as this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FR4Z4ZQ5?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details The element "windows" or anything else you would like to put in the lamp. I included a few examples here. Let me know in the comments if you want more of them. The Cap part goes into the top part of the buckball frame. THe Top Holder fits into that and then sits around the collar of the pendant light. The bottom of the pendant fits through the hole at the top of the Diamond Tower. You need to cut the cord to feed it through and the solder it back together. The windows are PETG and the rest is PLA. I'm using a 60W equivalent LED builb. DO NOT USE AN INCANDESCENT BULB. THAT WOULD BE A FIRE HAZARD. And would probably melt the PLA. The Diamond TOwer and the Half Thicker parts need to be printed with supports. The element windows were printed on a Prusa with an MMU 3
