Description
What's that? Its a rough and quick adapter to repurpose body and electronics (for now as I want to further modify both OG case & electronics) of Tiny portable pocket fan by Gokux using cheapo USB mini led light which you can buy all over the internet for example on Allegro , Amazon , AliExpress etc. What I need? I already made OG fan If you already made OG small fan you need to obtain USB LED (links listed above) and print adapter (snaps in place). I wanna made this from scrach PRINT: Print body provided by Gokux (I didn't have time to modify those files also) Print adapter for LED BUY/OBTAIN: 25x25x10mm DC5v fan 3.7V Li-ion battery 6x6 TACT button USB C charging module USB LED light some wire (around 22-24 AWG will do) small resistor (not crucial) some kind adhesive (hot glue/double side tape/B-7000 Glue) How put this together? Remove cap from USB light (try not to break it) De solder USB A connector from LED board Put adapter in Test fit all parts (you might attach them now) Make connections between remaining components (LED board to 5V output, TACT switch to Battery "-" and “K” post on the board, Battery to the board) Put cap you obtained in step 1 on, holes in adapter are intended to route wires, you might trim "legs" a little bit if you used wire with thicker isolation Close all together (use dab of adhesive if needed) What might change in the future? Soooo… First of all I need to modify body to accommodate different switches and charging modules (charging module that Gokux provided can “leak voltage” on output even when turn off and put power on output when charging). It would be nice to proper upscale this as I like model but there is few things I would like to change. Why you publishing this? Someone asked me. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media
