>>>>NOTE: I will still consider it a work in progress, since my top plate has some gaps on the side, but im not yet sure if its the modell itself or tollereance issues while printing, but i wanted to share the modell anyways since im not sure when i get to completly polish it and even tho tehre are still gaps i still had great succes with using it and printing ABS.<<<< I wanted to make the Companion Cube enclosure from Neil3D a full enclosure so i designed and added a top cover (a door will soon follow) The top cover can be printed completly on the P1P (or x1c), it adpats to the current enclosure so no need to reprint or mod any of the existing companion cube files. The top is just placed ontop of the printer and should fit right in. >>>>>> WARNING: I highly reccomend a cable chain, it works without one but the cable clips that connect the PTFE tube to teh cable can be caught on the underside of the cover<<<<<< ( Use on of these: https://www.printables.com/model/364801-bambu-lab-p1p-cable-drag-chain-assembly-updated-12 , Printable cable chain : https://www.printables.com/model/385282-bambu-lab-p1p-printable-cable-drag-chain ) The top cover is put together useing glue, if you want to add extra security use a soldering iron on the undersite to melt the parts toigether. There is a disc included for the underside that can be used as reinforcemnt, i dont use it, but i stil left it in incase anyone wants to use it. My print settings for it: I used PETG for all parts, since a lot of heat is gonna collect directly at it and it gets warm during prints. For wall, top and bottom perimeters i basically went with 3 or 4, both worked infill for the pink pieces 35% infill for the grey pieces 15% (my thought behind the 15% infill was that their is more air inside and air works as an insulator, not sure if it does in that case but yeah, like i said it works :D ) Infill for the White piece 10% I didnt include written instructions, since it is very easy to put together and there are notches where parts have to face a specific direction. NOTE: since you enclose your printer more with that (and for abs printing yous hould use a filter), i would suggest adding an exhaust/extractor fan. In my opinion this one works well https://www.printables.com/model/412891-p1p-heat-extractor-fan-for-enclosed-p1p since you dont have to cut the backplate or reprint it. PS: Excuse my bad pictures, space above the printer is limited, thats why i also added the Renders. PPS: yes the LED bar of the printer will make the infill visible.
