Description
This is the plastic part of the Trek Slash+ emtb bashguard assembly. I created this due to the original piece is quite fragile but you cannot purchase only the plastic part alone, but rather the complete assembly, which is quite a waste. I also redesigned it to make it more durable as well. Printing: Material: It can be ok even with pla, but petg, asa or abs would be better Slice it with big wall thicknesses or 100% infill. Supports will be needed. Assembly: The original screws can be used, but longer screws (chain ring screws) would be better. The easiest to assemble if you remove the drive side crank, chainring and lower motor cover. Be aware of the sealing of the chainring lockring! Read the service manual, and remove and assemble it accordingly (use the blue crank spindle cover when removing and assemblying the lockring). IMPORTANT: always check for clearance between the bashguard and the carbon frame, especially at the front screw! Use it at your own risk!
