Description

This is a remake of shiura's Triaxial Numechron Clock , which i did as a school project. Here is the main changes that has been done to the original design: The 12-hour wheel has been replaced with a 24-hour wheel. The numbers on the wheels is now extruded into the wheels instead. A housing has been designed to fit the stepper motor controller and a ESP 8266 with some nicer cable management to the motor. The parts of the original design has been modified to fit the 24 hour wheel. NOTE: the biggest part in this clock (hour wheel) is 360x360 mm, therefore you may need to divide some parts into smaller pieces to print them. Because the numbers has been extruded into the wheel, i used the multimaterial function in the slicer to color the numbers to give better contrast. ( NOTE: The numbers have only been extruded 0.05 mm into the surface, therefore it's not recommended to print with single color) 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Because the hour wheel had so much mass, it tended to skip a few hours forward sometimes at the hour change. Therefore i added about 55 grams of lead ammunition to add more mass to the Hour wheel stopper. I did this by adding a pause during the print to just add them between the infill. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media
AI Analysis: This is a detailed model of a clock designed for artistic purposes. The clock features a circular face with numbered hour markers and a central mechanism that appears to be part of a functional timepiece. Notable features include the clear hour and minute hands, the numbered hour markers, and the overall design that combines both aesthetic and functional elements.
