Description
While trouble shooting filament resistance issues setting up the MMU2S I found that the clamps for the ends of the PTFE tubes on my universal auto-rewind spool holders were creating a pinch point which increased resistance in the tube. To eliminate this problem I modified the classic tube holder from the spool holder model to accommodate a PC4 pneumatic fitting to hold the end of the tube. I also added a pivot to the arm so the filament always takes the most direct path into the tube. Fully print-in-place, no supports needed. The pivot hinge should not take much force to release, just make sure your printer does not over-extrude for the proper clearance to be met.
