Description

I seem to have not very good orange PETG filament and when I tried to attach the legs to the body, the thin legs always used to break. I printed many legs on Ender3V2 and broke them all. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media Finally I've contacted reddadsteve and he suggested how to make thicker legs in Blender. I followed his advice and here is my mod: The thickness of the legs was scaled 1.3 times from the original thickness. The thickness of the stud that goes to the body is approximately 2.25 mm now (it can be printed fine with Ender3V2). The size of the feet remained the same as it was in the original. If you still have difficulties with printing it accurately, I suggest to reduce printing speed to 15mm/s when printing the stud - it will make it more accurate and reliable. The diameter of the holes in the body is 2.40 mm. I tried several versions and this seems to be the best for Ender3V2. If you don't want to print a new body, you can just carefully drill wider holes in the original body - it also works fine - I tried. I made the place where the tail meets the body 1.3 times thicker, because the original tail is easy to tear off by a clumsy movement of a finger. The new tail won't go away anymore! These feet were printed with Ender3V2 from the first time and attached to the body easily without being broken. 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media 📷 Image redacted — claim this model to add your own media As I'm not the author of this model but only improved a few parts, all the copyrights belong to the original author and the license is the same as for the original model.
